Beach of Arvi

Arvi is some 86 km southeast of Heraklion, in front of the homonymous small village. Protected from the winds, it’s a pebbly beach with shallow waters in front of the village; the sea deepens at the eastern part. Not very organized, the beach does not offer sun beds or umbrellas; however, the sea is crystal clear and the beach quiet enough without big crowds of visitors. East of the beach it is the exit of the Arvi gorge, as well as the homonymous Monastery.
