El Greco - Woman With Ermine 1483-90

This small museum in Fodele, which is dedicated to one of Greece’s greatest artists, is housed in a renovated stone residence that is believed (probably erroneously) to have been El Greco's home before he left for Heraklion. In Spain, El Greco lived for years with his common-law wife, Jeronima de las Cuevas (it is believed that she is depicted in the portrait Woman with Ermine.
