How to get to Lasithi

By Bus: The best way to travel to Lasithi is by public bus from one of the other Cretan cities like Heraklion, Rethymnon or Chania.

By air: Sitia’s National airport is connected to Athens airport three times a week.

By Ferry-boats: Twice a week to Sitia, and once a week to Agios Nikolaos. The journey from Piraeus, takes about 14 hours to Agios Nikolaos and 16 hours to Sitia on standard ferries. On the Athens - Crete route, overnight ferries arrive at their destination between 09:00 and 11:00 in the morning.
